A 2000 study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science found that drinking 2.25 liters of water everyday for 4 weeks altered skin density and thickness. Proper hydration levels help the skin to become plump and improves its elasticity leaving it less likely to crack and have irritation and blemishes.
